Saxton Field Roof - 2008
The new stadium for Nelson at Saxton Field was a design and build project for Arrow International. There is some 800m2 of flat roofs and gutters to this building, and the architect selected Nuplex Soprema torch-on membranes from France as the product for this job.
As subcontractor to Arrow International, Construction Coatings Nelson Ltd installed the two layer system plus fillets, using Soprasun 3 for the base layer and 4AR mineral chip for the top layer. The gutters were finished with Soprasun 3+4 plain, then overcoated with Nuplex Cural bituminous aluminium coating. The whole project took over twelve months, with the waterproofing trade completed by Construction Coatings Nelson Ltd on time and on budget.
